In celebration of the season, Fall Harvest Brewfest is ramping up for its 5th annual showcase of craft beer, micro-distilleries, food and live music.  Presented by Wilbur’s Total Beverage, the fest will run from 7-10pm on Friday, September 6th, with a limited ticket VIP event from 6-7 before general admission doors open.  Wilbur’s Total Beverage will return as the Title Sponsor for 2013.

The event has stepped up to the Lincoln Center in old town Fort Collins.  Brewfestivians will have access to 100+ beers from over 30 different breweries and micro-distilleries along with food pairings from some of Colorado’s favorite vendors and restaurants; all beer oriented of course.  Ticket prices range from $37.50 for general admission to $55.00 for VIP access.  With the cost of admittance, each guest will get a commemorative tasting glass for unlimited beer and spirit samplings.  For those looking to expand their palate, be sure to check out some of the new breweries and micro-D’s on board for 2013:  Black Bottle Brewing, High Hops and Feisty Spirits, among others.  An expanded offering of non-alcoholic options will be featured, including Denver based Happy Leaf Kombucha and the decadent Dry Soda from Seattle.  Live music will play throughout the evening, starting with local acoustic artist Steve Murray, followed by peer reviewed Best New Band Winner, Winchester Holiday.  With all of the additional elbow room the Lincoln Center has provided, you will see more vendors to keep the lines down and your taste buds wagging.

Event producers, Black Lab Walking Productions, will partner again with The Animal House Shelter and Rescue as the event’s non-profit beneficiary.    “We want to bring the same cohesiveness and community feel to the brewfest as last year, “ says Brian Hurst, Executive Director and co-producer of the event.  “We already knew Fort Collins had a kinship for dogs and good beer.  The charitable aspect has made it even better.  Our motto is pretty simple:  ‘Drink a Beer, Save a Dog’.”   The brewfest helped raise over $16,000 in 2012 and hopes to raise even more in 2013.
